TEAR is a multimedia narrative project in which Planeswalkers use the titular T.E.A.R. (Transversal Express Automated Rail-system) to travel from world to world across the vast and ever expansive universe.
Planeswalkers generally fall into four categories: Wizards, Scientists, Wanders and Cultists who have their own factions you can learn about here.
TEAR is a project which contains a wide breadth of stories from pulpy action to sickly sweet romances, there is no genre or tone TEAR cannot accommodate for.
While currently TEAR consists mainly of comics and various writings; the intended experience for fans is to play the TEAR TTRG which is currently in development. In which players are encouraged to go on their own adventures exploring worlds, discovering new magic/technology and generally having fun with their friends.
